Home appliance repair in Tequesta, Florida

Find appliance repair for your Tequesta home with Appliance Repair American. Tell us the appliance brand, model and the function that has changed. We can discuss refrigerator, laundry, dishwasher and cooking-appliance service requests and help you identify the information needed for the visit.

Start with the equipment, then describe the change

  1. Kitchen appliances

A refrigerator cooling complaint, an ice-only problem and an oven heating concern call for different observations. Tell us which functions still work as well as which have changed.

  2. Laundry appliances

Distinguish water left in the washer from clothes that are wet after washing or still damp after drying. Identify the machine and cycle where you notice the problem.

  3. Built-in or unusual equipment

Mention cabinetry, stacked installation or another access constraint. For commercial or specialty equipment, provide the exact model and confirm suitability before assuming household service guidance applies.

A brand name is a starting point, not the complete model

A manufacturer may sell appliances with very different controls and construction. Share the full model from the label or your paperwork when possible. A photo can be easier than reading a long number over the phone; keep customer or account information out of any image you share.

If the label is not readily accessible, describe the appliance and ask where to look. Do not pull out a built-in unit, tip a machine or remove a cover just to locate it. Tell the team when the model is unavailable so the request can still be discussed.

Separate a symptom from a diagnosis

“The dishwasher leaves food on the top rack” describes something you observed. “It needs a new motor” assumes a diagnosis. Start with the observation, including the selected program, any displayed message and whether the issue happens consistently.

If you already have a technician’s diagnosis or a previous repair invoice, mention it. That is useful history, but a recurring complaint still deserves a check of the current condition before another part is selected.

Ask about parts, timing and repair terms

Before approving work, ask for a written estimate identifying the appliance, the proposed repair and the charges included. Clarify whether a part must be ordered and how a return visit will be arranged. An available appointment is not the same as a confirmed completion date.

Ask what terms apply to the particular repair and keep the written details. If manufacturer or service-plan coverage may apply, contact that provider about its requirements. We do not treat servicing a brand as a claim of factory authorization.

Appliance brands we repair

Our appliance service includes Bosch, Electrolux, Frigidaire, GE, Hotpoint, KitchenAid, LG, Maytag, Roper, Samsung, Sharp, Thermador, Viking and Whirlpool.

Have a brand that is not listed? Call with the brand and model so we can discuss the service you need. Brand service does not imply manufacturer authorization or warranty-plan participation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I contact you without knowing the model number?

Yes. Begin with the appliance type, brand if known and the observed problem. Let the team know the model is unavailable and ask what information will help before the visit.

Should I send an error code or a guessed part name?

An exact code or photo of the display is useful, together with the symptom and model. A code alone is not proof that a specific part must be replaced.
